The Official Biography
Born and bred in Greenock Brian Johnstone is the Managing Director of Toltech Internet Solutions, an award Winning Internet Marketing and Web Development business based in Greenock, Scotland.
After a career as a Building Services Engineer and achieving Chartered Engineer (CEng) status in 1990 he started Toltech Internet started in 1997 with lifelong friend Grahame Anderson.
Toltech Internet Solutions is a well established business with a good reputation in the West of Scotland and has a range of Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation services and a broad client portfolio.
Brian (and Grahame) have presented many seminars and talks over the years on business applications of the internet to a variety of organisations, councils, enterprise companies and private businesses.
Although not a programmer Brian has a developed a ’specialism’ in usability and rich media application on the web.
Musical Career
Brian has a career as a semi-pro musician where he writes and records his own music in various music projects:

Recently retired after many career comebacks with Greenock Wanderers RFC, Clarkston Rugby Club (now GHA) and Cowal Rugby Club he is now Head Coach at Cowal RFC.
Travel
A keen traveller (once a backpacker always a backpacker) Brian has travelled extensively throughout Europe, North America and the Pacific.
Who he is NOT
He is not the cricket commentator /radio presenter of Down Your Way, nor is he the singer with AC/DC.
